This workshop explores job and career satisfaction through the lens of vocational psychology and research specific to sign language interpreters. Together, we will explore core work values and examine areas of alignment and mismatch between those values and their current work environments. We’ll consider how factors such as setting, schedule, autonomy, relationships and workload contribute to professional well-being. Participants will leave with practical, research-informed strategies for increasing job satisfaction and supporting greater sustainability in their work.
